CREC Powers the Future with Rooftop Solar Energy

February 28, 2026

  1. Introduction

As part of our continued commitment to sustainable development and environmental responsibility, CREC has successfully installed a state-of-the-art Solar Power Plant at our facility. This initiative reflects our dedication to reducing our carbon footprint while embracing clean, renewable energy solutions that support long-term environmental sustainability.

With over six decades of excellence in construction, CREC is proud to take  a meaningful step toward a greener future.

  1. Technical Details

The solar installation has been carefully designed to maximize efficiency, reliability, and performance. Below are the key technical specifications of the project:

  • Installed Capacity:
  • Plant 1:90 kW
  • Plant 2:30 kW
  • Total Installed Capacity:20 kW
    • Type:Rooftop Solar System
    • System Configuration:On-grid (Grid-connected)
    • Annual Generation Capacity:152,000 kWh per year
    • Technology Used:Mono PERC (Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell)

The rooftop design ensures optimal space utilization while maintaining structural integrity. The use of advanced Mono PERC technology enhances panel efficiency, especially in high-temperature conditions, ensuring consistent performance throughout the year.

  1. Environmental Impact

The transition to solar energy significantly contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on conventional energy sources.

· Annual CO₂ Reduction

The system is expected to reduce approximately 128.86 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year. This reduction significantly lowers our organization’s carbon footprint and supports global efforts to combat climate change.

· Equivalent Trees Planted

The environmental benefit is equivalent to planting approximately 5,800 trees per year. This comparison highlights the tangible positive impact the project delivers in terms of carbon absorption and ecological preservation.

· Power Offset

The solar plant offsets approximately 95% of the total electricity bills submitted, demonstrating both environmental and financial benefits. By generating nearly all of our required electricity on-site, CREC has significantly reduced its dependence on fossil fuel-based power sources.

This initiative showcases how renewable energy adoption can drive both sustainability and operational efficiency simultaneously.

Our Vision

With over 60 years of excellence in construction, CREC continues to integrate modern, sustainable technologies into our operations and future projects. The successful implementation of this Solar Power Plant demonstrates our proactive approach toward innovation, energy efficiency, and environmental stewardship.

At CREC, sustainability is not just an initiative — it is a responsibility. As we move forward, we remain committed to building not only strong infrastructure but also a cleaner and greener future for generations to come.
